Further to the statement by the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) on 4th July 2017 announcing the 293 companies/entities/persons for which verification had been successfully completed and their subsequent registration on the National Supplier Database (NSD), this is to announce an updated list with more companies/entities/persons whose verification has been completed and have been added to the NSD. Verification of the other applications is still ongoing and the list of successfully verified and registered companies/entities/persons for 2017 will continue to be updated. The list of 381 companies/entities/persons whose verification has been successfully completed are listed here below.
The International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) consists of a coherent and consistent classification structure of economic activities based on a set of internationally agreed concepts, definitions, principles and classification rules. It provides a comprehensive framework within which economic data can be collected and reported in a format that is designed for purposes of economic analysis, decision-taking and policy-making. The classification structure represents a standard format to organize detailed information about the state of an economy according to economic principles and perceptions.
